Heritage 2017: A legacy of Excellence

We are proud to introduce our 2017 Heritage Blend, the perfect pairing of fantastic coffee with a powerful backstory.

This year’s Heritage Blend is sourced from Zalmari Estate, a coffee plantation owned by doña Marigold and run by her daughter, Cecilia—the fourth generation of her family to run the farm.

Zalmari Estate is located 40 kilometers from San José in the Orosi Valley region, famous for housing the Ruinas de Ujarrás, the ruins of one of the oldest churches in Costa Rica.

The fertile soil and mild weather of the Orosi Valley help the Zalmari Estate to produce tame, well-balanced coffee. The Caturra beans used in this roast give it its full body, chamomile aroma and flavor hints of dark chocolate.
